So, I’m in the middle of revising the invitation code system for a specific user. In the process I’ve got myself into a quandary. This user needs each invitation code to be unique, so there will be a new option to only allow invitation codes to be used once. That pretty much satisfied them for the immediate time. Now, I’ve come across two problems. First, when a user is deleted, should their invitation code be deleted too? I’m thinking we need an option for this behavior. Second, if an invitation code is deleted, what should happen? This one’s trickier and could require several changes. So, I present the question to you, loyal Redux users. Let me know what you think.

I’m getting the following error in regard to the logo on the registration page. How do I fix it?
Warning: getimagesize() [function.getimagesize]: URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration in /home/crysta22/public_html/linkedinsalestraining.com/wp-content/plugins/register-plus-redux/register-plus-redux.php on line 1326

There is an option toward the bottom of the Register Plus Redux settings for this specific error, URL File Access is Denied.
Hi there,
First of all, I’d say that you’ve created an awesome plugin with a slew of handy features. I came to know about it today only. I am making a blog and I’d like to incorporate your plugin into it. The blog is not live and I’m still developing it under a local environment. What I wanted to know is how do I test it under local conditions. When I go to the plugin’s settings and click on the ‘Preview’ button, all I get is ‘User registration is currently not allowed’ message. So, how do I test it? Maybe this question is stupid, but I’m a newbie when it comes to WordPress. I’d be really grateful if you’d help me.
Have a nice day!
Regards,
Nipun
You need to go to your General Settings and check, Anyone can Register.
will you be coming out with a version that stores the invitation code in the DB?tried inserting 50k codes in the current structure, i doesn’t read it.

Hey! Thanks for the great plugin. I am having some difficulty though with the user verification process. E-mails are getting sent out appropriately, etc. but when the user goes to verify their e-mail (assuming the option is checked to force e-mail verification before registration…) they are getting a page stating the below…
Fatal error: Call to a member function add() on a non-object in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/register-plus-redux/register-plus-redux.php on line 2444
Any ideas? We have been looking a bit into it, but really don’t want to break anything, nor hurt our chances at a smooth upgrade to a newer version.
Hello, and thank you very much for that very useful plugin !
I have a question – well, two :
- As WP usally only ask for Username a/o email + pwd, ho can I parameter the Firstname + Lastname to be the name displayed by default for any user without ask them to modify Profile ?
- I have added a profile field. How can I get the item to be print in the author public page ?
Thank you
Hello there, first of all thanks for the amazing plugin.
I would like to know if there is an easy way to insert invitation code, I have to insert 400 of them. Are they stored somewhere in the db?
Thanks a lot
I also need many, one use only invitation codes. Is this possible?
Thank you!
Hi!
This is a great plugin and a waste if it’s going to die. So I am hoping this plugin will be updated (at least the security hole fixed), so it can get back into the WordPress repository.
I always use this plugin on ANY site I create using WordPress, it gives the user something what should be default in WordPress: creating custom e-mails and activation of accounts.
Kinds regards,
CptChaos – a happy Register Plus Redux user
Is there any news on the update for Register Plus? Would like to use it for a new site and see that it is unavailable at the WordPress repository at this time.
Me too, I’m trying to modify the plugin so that each user can have a single invitation code, but it looks like you’re already implementing this option in a new update of the plugin. Is it true?
Is there a way to add a verification question perhaps math or similar to prevent spam better? I am getting a lot of users registering that seem to be using suspicious emails and would like to prevent them from even registering in a better way, it seems that recaptcha is not stopping enough users. If there is a way to add a math question or click this picture or something that would be good!
My question is I have inserted five invitation codes in the admin,It is listed in the dashboard also but how I can show in the front end while registration for a new user.I could n’t show the list of invitation codes is available in the front end then only it will be helpful for users to type the available invitation codes in the textBox.
I am new to wordpress any one can help me to solve my solution.
Could any one find me please ,In which table the invitation code is stored in the database.
Hey,
This is the most awsomest of plugins. I wonder if you could tell me where the invitation codes are stored or give me some direction to point out.
